An ASL home provides a pleasant, comfortable and homely environment with a mix of personal and communal space. Short term and long term options are available. All service users have their own tenancy and are supported to maintain this through providing help with living skills, financial decisions and budgeting as they develop and grow in the responsibility of running a home and with daily household management.

Service users are supported to increase their well-being, establish coping skills, manage mental health symptoms and achieve stability in life. All receive individualised, person-centered support towards building the life that they would like to live. This can include gaining independence with life skills, domestic tasks, managing medication, developing social skills and providing assistance with taking up education, training and employment opportunities.
